    From 122617-010918 CCCPVK is hosting semi-public alpha testing on the "Approaching Pavonis" Test Server. Password for now is "x" until griefers force us to change it again. This is a heads up to anyone who loves the sport like perfection of plays that can come out of pvk and wants to demo record their play.

    I spent about 400-500 hrs learning demo smoother and blender vid edit in prep for pvk promo material to push toward the hardcore CS/Quake demograph, and any top end competitive footage submitted will be used for the CCCPVK PR/Marketing push aimed @ competitive FPS streamers once the initial eSport balance patch is live.

    Arch/MMA V SS/Skirm Game From 2's Tonight.
    Example of the mobile / kite / always on the move style of this comp.
    MMA/Arch is a fascinatingly difficult comp to master, as it requires strong team synergy and communication.
    Combing a high dps glass cannon ranged and a high movement speed heavy hitter w/ reach mele that has backup ranged and bash capability.
    High risk high reward. Easy to punish but deadly if utilized properly.

    First in a long series of training courses for competitive bhop.
    Like most fighting skills, learning how to maneuver with air acceleration while manually mouse wheel bhopping takes time and dedication to master.
    Before you can bhop mid fight you have to learn how to bhop smoothly without punishing your self while traversing the basic ground of your arena.
    Jump timing and sharp angles in terrain if missed will take you from a imba sprint to a 0 speed halt in the blink of an eye.
    Familiarity of motion is what allows you to take bhoping into a competitive fight.
    To be so used to the motion that you do not think of it while doing it, all thought left free to deal with the combat situation.


    I'm starting a collection of all the bhop mini races I used when starting out with manual mouse wheel bhop.
    I recommend watching TV / AudioBook / PodCast / ECT while doing these exercises.
    1: Makes it much more easier to do a lot without getting bored.
    2: Helps to train the second nature / instinct / multitask nature that bhoping has to get to before it becomes useful in combat.

    Without mastering the basics bhoping will only get you killed. It happens to everyone when they are first learning.
    Over time we'll develop a large repository of every style of bhoping and how it applies to each class.

    Pretty standard start that displays the maneuvering to avoid ledges / ceilings

    Key:
    K = Knight Spawn
    LowerAmmo = Center Mid Lower
    VP = VikingPirate = Mid zone between V spawn and P spawn
    VP-V = VP into V as a path of travel and tactical plan of round start engagement

    Mannn I just realised I spend to much time in hammer... when seing the topic its title I thought it was about clipping maps  O.o
