Modeled in Blender and textured in GIMP.
I will upload it to the workshop soon, but before that I want to gather some feedback and see how I can improve it.
I like the design! Seems a little dark, and doesn't fit the knights armor. It looks old and rusted like a shield he hasn't used in awhile. Maybe if you try to match the front textures closer to the look of his armor / the reference you had, unless that's what you were going for.

The old and rusted looks were actually done on purpose, but you're right, it'll probably look better if I matched it with the Heavy Knight's armor. I'll start re-doing the textures ASAP. Thank you for your feedback!
The frontal view of the shield (in first-person) showing the wood is great, one of the best wood textures I've seen ever made, although they will be needing shaders and thinking further, those "scratches" make no sense, it's like somebody was dumb enough to use that front as cover instead of the metal, although I'd keep the scratches myself, because they're subtle and not big enough, let's imagine some dullards wanted to have fun with it or try to make some decorations and all.
The metal though, that's the worst part; Despite it looking good and used, it has a huge amount of devastating rust. The rust is also way too randomized, you can even see it in first-person around the edges.
A bit of rust is normal, but making it visible is the problem, you need to make it as subtle as you can. Every good blacksmith would tell you to ditch that shield right now.
Even a bit of visible rust would tick them off.
Now, what's missing are two important things; Normal Map and RTNL Texture.
I say that theoretically, I know you got a Normal Map but it's either badly-made or not visible because it has no shaders to show it off.
Still, you improve the Diffuse, removing all that obvious rust and all, and you can be ready to make normal maps and RTNL textures.
