Alright, I've found an issue where if I run a map with a prop that has been compiled with $surfaceprop "no_decal" the game will crash if somebody hits that prop with a melee weapon. I've found what's causing the problem, and I can fix it locally, but I need to know how to fix it entirely.
When I went into the surfaceproperties.txt file in the scripts folder, here's what I found:
It's the gamematerial that's causing the crash. Because if I set it to "C" which is the gamematerial of the "default" surfaceprop, the game will run perfectly and I can slash all I want on the prop. I tried embedding my own surfaceproperties.txt file into the map, but that didn't work. Is there anyway to fix this?
