W is Water
Map has LTS gamemode.
When the Sudden Death runs gates are closing and the spawns must be filled with water. Also big sand clock falls and all the sand spoils all over the map. Map must be themed blue.
Feedback is appreciated!
Feedback... is kind of difficult to give. There is so little here to give feedback on. And I somewhat fail to see the purpose of this thread, is it meant to be the idea gathering phase of a map you're making? Is it supposed to be inspiration for other mappers who you hope will take up the task of making this map?
Besides that, we know it's lts and the map is themed.. blue? Care to elaborate? How will it play, what is the art style, how do you suppose the falling hour glass would work? Is it a big or small map? Do you intend the spawns to be playable areas or not?
All I know so far, is that the hour glass idea seems very intriguing and I like that aspect so far, but it would be a technical challenge to implement right.
You see, there is still a lot of information you can give us, so we can in turn give more precise feedback.
As far as I understand, the theme "blue" seems to most likely refer to water. I just draw that assumption by the fact that there's gonna be a lot of water
It's intriguing, I love things that has to do with clocks and time but it's indeed going to be quite tricky to find out how the hour glass is gonna fall and such, and what the spoiled sand would mean. Would it give a slowdown effect if you tread upon spoiled water?
This strikes to me as a temple-inspired map, something like Forgotten or Temple, and I think it would be the most fitting for this map if it was in such a temple.
I'd also put the spawns a little bit further away, something like in Arena. And then have the clock right in the middle of the map. Perhaps there it could be random to which side the hourglass will fall to?
More information to this one, it's interesting and rather unique but as Bridgecable said, more information would be necessary to find some proper feedback.
Most of what I typed is what I think could work for this map.
"Finally I can shoot with this weapon and not just kill!"
Answering some questions:
The central area of the map needs to be as big as Forgotten. "Themed blue" means that the textures must be mostly sand-ish with some blue strokes. In my opinion sand clock should fall right to the first stairs and sand from it should fully cover it. Also the water must strike from all sources and cover the first two levels, one by one. At this time the columns (may be placed in the first level and near the waterfall) will break and fall randomly with some ceiling parts.
I also want that sand clock counting the normal time and then BOOM!
Also the sand clock can be a liquid sand clock (EG: Water sand clock) You can continue this idea and make the map because Im not the map maker, Im the designer somehow. Sorry for my bad english, cheers!
P.S. I'd just dreamt that map yesterday sorry for no exact details I sketched all I remembered.

There are many tutorials out there. Just have to search for them. But keep in mind that you must invest time and be willing to learn this stuff. If you're willing to learn how to use Hammer, here are two places to check out in order to get started:
The Valve Developer Community, a great place to start. It has about all the info you need to create just about anything. If I am not mistaken you can even look up what entities do and how to set them up correctly. https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Category:Level_Design
Interlopers is a great place with very capable mappers sharing their work and expertise. There is also an error checker on their site. Just copy paste your compile log in there and it will find problems and explain how to fix them. http://www.interlopers.net/tutorials/ http://www.interlopers.net/errors/
