This is what they say: Children of Nova is an American experimental rock band from San Diego, California, formed in the Summer of 2007. The band incorporates aspects of alternative rock, progressive rock, post- hardcore, punk rock, heavy metal and jazz.
I would still call them prog, since all the others kinda go together with what they play. They closest resemblance to them I've heard are Pink Floyd, and the Fall of Troy. Others say that they sound Mars Volta-ish, but I haven't listened to them/him so I wouldn't know.
You should definitely check them out though.

Mars Volta is shit. Same with Fall of Troy
(...no offense if that's stuff you like, just my opinion)
If they sound like pre-Wall Floyd, that's cool, but I would guess that they don't really
The Fall of Troy was a bad example really, since the only thing I thought of was the echo-guitar which is used in like one song. It does not make any resemblance to the genre either. With Pink Floyd it's the relaxed parts. I guess I'm bad at giving examples . I really like Floyd though, pre-wall as you said yourself, so if you've heard the Dark Side of the Moon album you know what I mean if you would listen to them.
This is just one of my youtube videos playing Cliffs of Dover by Eric Johnson.Well actually It was filmed by a friend of a friend of a friend of another friend.
How on Earth is Zombie Panic Source 2.7GB and the Dedicated Sever 2.1GB!!!?
I've been playing TF2 Prophunt a lot lately, it is so much fun If you have never heard of it, then look at this video (just look at it, even if you know)
There is a new movie that involves VIKINGS, TIMETRAVEL AND QUANTUM PHYSICS FUCK YEAH.
QUOTE
Join siblings Valdemar and Sille on a trip through Danish history as they attempt to break an age-old curse in this exciting, action-filled time-travel adventure!
Sullen ninth-grader Valdemar is not only failing physics, but has also been left by his vacationing parents to babysit his younger sister Sille. More interested in having fun than minding his bookish sister, Valdemar decides to take a joyride in his dad's brand-new luxury car. Unfortunately things go awry, and he must figure out a way to raise the very large sum of money needed to repair the vehicle before his parents return.
Fatefully, Valdemar encounters Benedict, a physicist who claims he hasn't aged a day in a thousand years due to a spell of immortality placed on him by a Viking witch. FUCK YEAH Benedict considers the loneliness of immortality a curse, and is desperate to get hold of the one object that can break the enchantment. He asks Valdemar to step into a high-tech chamber in his office, and the teen finds himself thrust back in time to the tenth century. Returning to the present and freaked out by the experience, Valdemar refuses Benedict's offers of cash to go back again. But with his parents due to return, Valdemar is desperate for funds to fix the car, and relents to Benedict's pleas. He is unexpectedly joined by Sille, and the pair go back in time to find the witch and reverse Benedict's fate.
Couldnt find an english trailer i think it's only available in danish and german
I have an aristocratic smile and like to punch people
He is actually from my town and I've seen him perform Tears of the Dragon by Bruce Dickinson live at a small gig, no kidding. He's 4 years older than me so I don't know him personally, but my sister and her friends kinda do. Small world huh? Especially in the north of Sweden.
Yes because of foreign students who come here on exchange to our colleges. They even make a big deal of Amateur Marie Digby over here and she's from America. The music academies generally show this talent for people as well in gigs over here, in fact the majority of them are found on MySpace, e.g. gabriel and rodriguez on MySpace. For me I like the Cliffs of Dover song and this one is very popular at over 3 million views.

Children of Nova were ok, the only song I liked was The Complexity of Light. Anglagard wasnt my cup of tea but thats okay if you like it. Anyone here listen to Naildown? The lyrics arent great but the music is brilliant.

Edit: I just thought of a better example, Coheed and Cambria or even Rush.
