Perfect Parry and Me

I seem to be unable to do that counter attack after you make a perfect parry and I am pretty sure that the counter ain't an automatic event but it does not happen even if I spam the attack button when the "Perfect Parry!" appear on the screen. Am I too slow or am I just doing something seriously wrong?

    when you see the words "Perfect Parry" on your screen, hit the left mouse button.

    Keep blocking when doing the counter attack.
    So it goes like this:

    - Enemy charges attack
    - You block in the correct direction
    - You get the perfect parry
    - Press the Left mouse button, while not releasing the Right mouse button
    - You just counter-attacked and you may release both buttons.
    ???
    PROFIT!

    So I should keep blocking AND press attack when "Perfect Parry" pop up?

    just hold both buttons when you perfect parry someone biggrin.gif

    Yes, otherwise you lower your block stance and will attack normally.
    Don't let go of blocking.

    Yeah, apparently this isn't that clear because I had to teach a friend of mine, there really should be some sort of tutorial or something. If you move forward while counterattacking it is better too because your enemy can't just dodge your attack while you swing just infront of yourself.
    A real warrior isn't unafraid, he is afraid to show it.

    It should really just be automatic but nerfed damage

    just hold mouse1 all the time when you parry
