  Official server admin? or a server admin on private servers?
  
  If its private servers - you can usually achieve that by either, A) Sucking up to the admins, Follow their rules, enforce them and show you can be trusted, C) Make your own server and be an admin.

  Official (as in someone like me): play a lot, get to know the other admins, dont be a dick, etc.

  No you are not required to pay Skad, but previous experience with servers is a bonus.

  And that previous experience with servers can only be gained by being an admin on a server. Which requires previous server experience.

  Lawl i hosted servers for like 3-4 years... thought i find no intrest being admin if i'm not acctuly is the main admin

  I find a great reason to being an admin. Now you can actually do something about those asswipes who find nothing more entertaining than making the game horrible for everyone else, and happen to join the servers that never have admins on and have votekick/ban disabled.

  they go to each server until they find one where there isnt an admin.. its not that hard especially cause theres only like 12 servers lol
