I saw them support TOOL in 2008, it was like, the worst sound I've ever heard. basically emptied the O2 arena
Yeah I know, they supported also Metallica and Iron Maiden in some live in Italy my friends went to, and I got the same review from them. I can assure you anyway that their studio albums are something incredible. Finally yeah, I forgot to mention Tool as best '00s metal band, but they're something more than Metal.

Are you saying they were worse than Tool? because I can't picture that, really
^ Yugen's Iridule is probably my favourite 2010 album so far, although it might get passed by Jean Louis's Morse if the copy I ordered ever shows up
One of their best songs, indeed. RIP Ron Asheton.

Only some songs of various soloist like Eric Johnson with its "Cliffs Of Dover", indeed. Here is the first one of them, maybe.
Anyway my current song:
A questionable and unoriginal idea with riffs taken from the worst Nu Metal: that's what they are. I prefer to listen to some real pirate music.
Iron Maiden - 2 Minutes To Midnight [Powerslave, 1984]
^^
This band needs more attention
I beg to differ.
So beautiful.
They always cheer me up! And Tom Waits here gets me mad.
I'm not really into the cure but I really liked A forest.
I like this one more
