New to setting up PVK II servers. Wondering if there is a way to make it so when a fourth person joins, it allows 2v2v0?
Basically it forces autobalance between two groups at any time, instead of all three?

Are you asking to make it from 3 teams to 2 teams via a command on any map that is already 3 teams? If so, I disagree with this as it really goes against the game's design. If you wish for 2 teams you can make a map for the two teams you want and disable the third.
I should have read the first post of this topic more clearly it seems, as the bug I have been seeing for the past year is on 3 team maps, where players will leave/join spec leaving sometimes vastly unbalanced team populations, and yet autobalance does not kick in and move people as it is intended to. Sometimes it works after a few rounds and moves people, other times we are forced to mp_shuffleplayers in order to even out the teams.
My post was in reference to Cannabis Connoisseurs LTS and Kalastan custom servers, both of which are standard 3 team PVK format with both autobal and limitteam set to 1.
Sorry for any confusion. I logged in forms this morning to make a post about the autobalance bug and saw this thread, assuming they were talking about the same thing.
Next time I see this bug happening I will make sure to record a demo and fraps/upload the video for a bug report.

I wasn't sure if he was referring to a bug or forcing two teams instead of three in a map but I assumed it was the forcing and my response was toward that.
If he meant that a bug where it doesn't auto balance correctly, then that is a different story. I don't recall having seen that in three maps but I do remember seeing, in some circumstances, two team maps. In general it requires the person to be moved to be slain first than forcing it while alive which can give the assumption it doesn't move someone especially if they live a very long time. That is an issue but forcing someone while alive I am not sure is the best way to go especially in circumstances like TW where they may be holding it then drop it immediately from being moved.
