I'd say that it's the Pirate drop-off point for Island replaced with... That structure. But we all know that the trees there are closer together, yet impossible to navigate past or hide behind.
Please don't start spamming glows now everywhere, I pretty much dislike that idea. It is obvious that when playing a new game one first has to learn stuff, e.g. where the booty zones are. Making everything glow in different colors is distracting and doesn't look good either.
E.g adding those glows to the booty zones on island would destroy the map in my eyes. It is just normal that people don't understand everything right from the start, glows will add more distraction besides looking bad, that's my opinion.

Well, that was inspiring. I'll queue those two projects up.
Yes indeed spamming glows everywhere would be a bad idea. One may as well cover the area in attention-grabbing signs. That's why the glow I have here is intended to look as though it's bleeding out of the masonry, and evaporating upwards.

I agree, signs are good and can be made so that they fit into the map without looking awkward.

I think that just about sums that up. The Knights prayed, and their lord showed them where he wanted the treasure. Unfortunately, they can't seem to get very much. Nor can they hold on to what they get.
Looks all right and could work well if implemented well. I'm not a big fan of a flashy hud and dinah tips all over the place but pushing people into the right direction is a good thing. I'd say as much glitter as needed and as little and natural as possible. A subtle glowing mist could fit inthe map just as the glow in the chest room. Not sure about the pirate one though. It's quite a change to the map as well. However it might be fun to jump around on that structure.
(One of the reasons I really like townsquare is the ability to jump around everywhere on that map. The knight spawn for example; you could run away from a few slow HKs for hours in that area - but that's off topic)
Alright, when I made the picture for the Pirate's base, I had to adapt an idea I had for a structure that came to mind when I heard of the map "El Dorado". The structure was one that I hadn't seen in any screenshots, but I felt it fit the name of the map.
The concept of objective glows had also been present when I heard of the map, and the idea that it had been "Blunter than ever before, with 50% more blunt" got me thinking. Could it be integrated into the map without looking so gosh darn blunt?
This generated the idea of the Pirate's glow bleeding out of the woodwork, like them. For the Vikings, great seafarers, it would naturally be rising from the water. While the Knights, looking for divine inspiration, got divine intervention telling them where to put the gold.
I can't find the words to say it, so I'll have to settle for something that doesn't tell the whole story, nor accurately conveys my message. I can't draw the way I think others consider it.
Maybe it's my condescending nature, or an in-built tendency to fail a hundred times before I succeed. Every time I try to say it, I say it wrong. At least this time, It's wrong and short.
Gamehub artwork? I'll add a picture of the Heavy Knight to my queue.
Well, it only took me about a month to finish the picture I was already drawing, and then finish this one.

It's not because they're scared. It's because they like fighting too much.
Some people will simply not pursue objectives.
