Like Swim animations, Climbing animations ( So you dont use a weapon when climbing, i always hated that) Maybe like a limp animation where you limp when your pushing daisies and cant go fast. That would be cool
Others have to change my signature for me :(

    I'd feel the same, it does sound like a cool idea but I'm unsure if it's entirely necessary, particulary slow movement speed when you're on low health, sure that sounds what you'd expect to see from anyone close to dying, but it feels like a big penalty for players who've in one way or another taken many hits and suddenly being slower would almost nullify the chances of a possible comeback, mostly referring to LTS where ending up being shot to low health at the very start is a common encounter.

    The other suggestions seem fine, but I'm preferring how ladderclimbing is the way it is because ladders are very infrequent in the maps because they're generally avoided to be put in maps overall. The few ladders that are there can serve as an additional way to outmanouver opponents, if you would be unable to wield weapons when climbing then I can see how ranged classes could neatly sit ontop of the ladders and block anyone trying to climb up.

    We'll probably have swimming animations at some point. We've been talking about that for a while actually. PVK1 had swimming animations.

    Ladder climbing, and low health animations are a little more complicated because they involve some significant gameplay changes to make sense. For the ladder climbing, we would have to restrict a players point of view so they couldn't turn around or use their weapons while on ladders. And as mentioned before, we're not keen on restricting the movement of players so low health animations are tricky.

    Limping animations sound like a good idea, and the classes wouldn't even have to be slowed, works for Dota 2.

    The character could look alot more worn out instead, aye. Right now you can actually see how the chracters facial expressions change depending on their health level, from stupidly grinning at enlightened and frowning miserably at pushing up the daisies.
