  I don't think I encountered this problem back in November, but I did two days ago. Does anyone know what causes it?

  I don't know, it pops up for me at the beginning of every month so it's probably Steam updating things.

  Deleting config worked for me when the normal way didn't as for a few others who still had the problem

  Hopefully it gets fixed with the Sharpshooter update. Or it's steam itself due to the Updates...
