and blood refurs to the completly custom mini map version it is now.
I have a larger non-custom te_overlord version that might not ever get done. and what i mean by non-custom is it uses all stock materials and models of pvk2.
maybe I did something wrong when i downloaded it, but the map is full of big "error" boxes, and there is purple texture everywhere. please either fix it, or tell me how to download properly.. I would really like to see this map first hand

Just copy every thing in the overlord_blood file and paste it to your: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\<username>\pirates, vikings, and knights ii\pvkii, folder Yes to overwrite folder and file names.
The Map looks very good (only the movin blood on the floor is a bit disturbing a hole where all that blood of the bloodfall goes in would have looked nicer) for tw and dm there might be too much dead ends but i just played it by myself so i can´t say for sure

The pit in the middel of the thrown room was where the blood flowed but there was a really annoying bug. So i had to remove it.
and if the map is dm like it was a long time ago every one meets in the thrown room or in that tree area any ways. with all the dead bodys. the blood make sents. lol

This map from what I see has tons of custom content. Whenever it is finished and (or if) it hosted on servers, wouldn't it take quite a while to download it? Impatient people won't join which will leave few people playing on the map. Will the map be compressed or something? I'm not saying anything bad about it. This map is really good especially for being custom.
maybe the custom content as kow made it free to use for pvk should be added to next update? so without makin the map official custom mappers could use his stuff and people can download the map faster

Only a few like me made there maps completely custom. Those where the top 4 maps in the polls. I won first place but the team wasn't satisfied with any of the maps and none became official.
Now when if I ever get around to it. I do have a non-custom version of the map. that is way larger and also is a te_ map.
Oh and has any one noticed the secret room when the map first loads up. go spectator and you'll see it.
Dose any one know of a hosting site that dosent have a file size restriction? fps banna cant handle the size of this map, and the other sites like file planet keep deleating this map file. I need roughly 1 gig of space for this maps content.
Its not really for the map, the map is only 14mb the custom content is the rest and I gave the model rights to the pvk2 team. Im just not sure if they got it or not because the links keep getting deleated. Grr
the map was made in 2.0 so if pvk2 has updated then yes it will crash. but, im not worried about the map. I promised the custom content to pvk2 use so here it is. 86mbs of dark atmosphere Textures, models, hud, scripts, sprits

Great contributions! A few of your textures play a very important role in my upcoming map. Some are there in pure form, others I've had to modify a bit.
i have about 2hrs a week to work on it, but yeah currently i need to see if the objective i have in mind is possible before progressing on the overhaul of the map.
New version in the works, of overlord. this baby is huge not server worthy just yet, the map currently is to walk around and see the progress update So far. No 3dskybox atm light leaks and tested spawn points all which will be improved or moved in time. Game mode will be moving Territory with by far the longest track, in time it will go around the castle and through the castle one big figure 8. Any one remember the thrown room. Well its closed, only can view it in spectator mode. this has been a fun massive overhaul. Still tons of work to do.

deleted all custom models.
by no means should you use this map on a server as it is not optimized.
its for viewing the concept of the original idea of overlord.
I plan on completely remaking this map in the future with a completely different layout.
and an actual objective.
