    You guys should lay off Valve. I'm sure for an indie developer, they do their best. Servers, clients, keyboards, overhead fluorescents, these things all take time to install, set up, and get working properly. I'm sure they will have 2.3 out as soon as they possibly can.

    Valve was something close to an indie developer back in the half-life - counter-strike days...Now i wouldn't dare to say that they are as a big as any notorious company out there (like EA) but they aren't small anymore.

    That's because EA is a shit pile (IMO, of course). They peaked in 2003 and have been on a steady plummet ever since.

    2.3 should comes out in the end of december, but we still have february. its not fun to wait so long.
    why dont release valve pvk 2.3 over steam?

    i am really sorry, but its frustrating, i love the mod, and i want to play it.
    2.2 is shit.

    Couldn't the team just release 2.3 the same way they released 2.2? Sure, it might (might!) throw a few wrenches if Valve ever decides to put it on Steamworks, but at least it would prevent us from waiting another month. Just a thought.
