Just a quick question. When moving with the skirmisher, will the gun stay stationary in the first person view? Because even though it would seem like a minor touch to do this, I think it would look a lot better if it moved around a little bit when the accuracy is affected by movement.
Looks really awsome . Only thing im skeptical of is the double jump. It probably wont have too much height on it to maintain balance, and it was probably tested the hell outta it by the beta testers.
Imagine in desertruin, or in any map with heights, you can just jump down the tower (small fort in 2.3) without taking any damage. I'm so loving the skirmisher. Pirates are my favorite team even now.
Do the new pickups disable the old ones? Because in some custom maps, such as a castle being defended, you wouldn't want the castle to be full of everyones armor while realistically it would only hold the defending teams armor.
These are just static screenshots, graphical effects are never as overpowering visually as you'd think ingame since everyone and their weapons are moving around. Think of it like phong, you think that big shine on something is awful but once you see it actually moving around based on torches and stuff it's not nearly so blinding.
I've waited so long for this and I honestly think it was worth the wait for this amazing patch. I'm going to love how this patch turns out, by the way, I'm loving what you guys did to desertruin and arena.

I've actually got some serious questions about 2.3
if it's going to be on the orange box engine, it will use the name from our steam community, correct? if it's on steamworks, it will be downloaded over steam...does this mean it (the game files) will no longer be stored under "sourcemods", but rather in your account name's folder? if we share a computer, we will know longer have to share config files and in game name, right? the pirates will be able to voice command "T'will be the plank fer ye!", correct?
I was thinking the same thing, but waht is he going to do throw 3 axes like the archer special
no I was thinking more like he runs out of axes and then uses his special to throw his big two handed axe screaming "VALHALLA!", the project moves slow and arcing and is loud but hits for a shit ton of damage. hell why not harder than the 360 spin, seems to me every other special is just pissing in the wind compared to the 360 spin. especially since heavy knight is the only class that can live long enough to use it.

zerker special is the best, no question. it's nearly impossible to waste, unlike every other special
Having it released on steam doesn't guarantee people will flock to it, as those who bothered with mods in the first place probably have already tried PVK2. Other then that, you have a point that it should be polished in 2.3.
PS. Why can't I see any (not installed) mods in my games list??

It already does that.
All weapons do.
Everything seems great, but maybe the glow on the weapons should be less obvious.
Once again, thanks!

Why did you people have to fix something that wasn't broken in the first place?
Please don't throw the "if you don't like the game don't play" card. Bitching about things you don't like is actually pretty good.
I have an aristocratic smile and like to punch people
I just stated that it doesnt need to be broken to have some changes.
