Change Log and Release Information

Well hello there!

Today, we have great news for all of you! Pirates, Vikings and Knights II beta 2.3 is currently in content lock and undergoing final testing and preparations for our first Steam release!

We have put together a full change log of what you can expect in 2.3. A few of the larger items in the change log include:

New Class - GestirAdded Win system to use Medals now, Gold for winner and Silver for second placed team.Added over 100 achievementsNew Objective Score SystemAdded kill assistsBlocking direction is now chosen automatically according to the attack direction of the opponent closest to the blockerWhen attacking a blocker with a fully charged attack the blocker may be stunned and some damage will be delivered to himReduced perfect parry effectMany balance changesNew team and class selection menusAdded a new GUI for the end of a Round that will display the top mvps for the winning team, or if its a draw, the top 3 from all teamsPersonal Score Breakdown now displayed on scoreboardMany map and game mode changesMany bug and exploit fixesand Much more!

Now, as I mentioned at the beginning of the post, we are currently undergoing our final testing and preparations for getting 2.3 on Steam. As it stands right now, we expect to have 2.3 released by the end of this year, assuming nothing major gets in the way!

More information on our release date will be available throughout the month. Until then, here are a few screen shots to check out!

Was awesome map...not anymore.
Y'know graal is not the best gamemode.

Ok now good stuff. EVERYTHING IS COOL! You are making a new game there, like there is everything changed, Combat, Block, Menus, Maps, Pickups, Speeds and so on...

Can you tell that is skirmisher still the fastest and have you reduced berserks speed?

Skirmisher is still the fastest, berserker is the second fastest, but when he does his special, he is a little faster than the skirmisher.

you guys did not mention pvk_pinegrove in the Change Log. Does that mean that it won't be in 2.3?

and I hope you guys release pvk_saints as a custom map since you took it out of the game.

Oh...my...god, (head explodes due to awesomness), this is just so...much good stuff. I read the entire changelog, and the only thing i was remotely confused by was desertruin, it was my favourite map,also you dont really have any other official territory maps, hope you will release it as territory when 2.3 is released. But still, there is only one thing i can say, and that is OMFG

I really like the revenge mechanism in LTS, and also the chance of a game to start in Sudden Death.
That is something I always wanted in LTS, Sudden Death is just so awesome.

Nice to see we are finally getting some solid progress, Looks like a great update, My first thoughts were to question how big this release actually is, because it does seem like one extra class for 1 of the 3 teams, and it has been a long time but at the same time I can imagine a huge amount of work must have gone into converting it all to the orange box engine, and squashing all the bizillions of bugs that come with it. Thanks PVKII team!!

How fast will he be? How powerful will his weapons be!?

Will it be like pvk 1 where you could run at near skirmisher speed with your javelin out but lack the ability to strafe?! I DONT KNOW I want to know, but I don't.

I'm sure the Holy grail version of desertruin won't be that bad.

after all they have the new territory map SandStorm that should make up for desertruin.

and their are allot of custom territory maps.
