For a long time it is, but the enthusiasm to map is untroubled;)
Today I would like to introduce you to
obj_uhtred:
The objectives are:
Knights:
1. Escort the Rambock to the first gate and break it!
2. Bring the ram to the second gate and destroy it!
3. Invade the castle and conquer the flag!
4. Conquer the flag on the hill to win!
Vikings:
Defend your territory at any cost, Walhalla is waiting for you!
I would like to test the card with as many players as possible. Does anyone have an idea how that could go or a server?
I like to listen to suggestions and improvements;)

I'm surely gonna test this out with the public.
Other than that, I tried the map myself and I already found these issues;
1. There is some obvious performance loss (FPS drops) in some parts of the map, specifically on Knights' trebuchets when you look at the target while near the trebuchets.
2. At 16 players (I can confirm), the performance will drop incredibly drastically.
3. The fog is incredibly pixellated/blocky, probably due to how the original size was very small and you had to increase it. Another problem with the fog is how it's not transparent enough, seems 100% opaque and only gets transparent at its edges.
4. The light from the outside is very boring, while from the inside it's rather way too bright.
5. There are no cubemaps at all.
I understand it's a beta, so some features (especially cubemaps) are missing, so if you don't want to add some like the cubemaps just yet, it is perfectly fine by me.
I want to add the map into my Custom Maps server right away, but considering all these 4/5 reasons, I simply cannot.
Can you please try to optimize the map further?
I'll help you with whichever part you think I can fix (figure out performance, see if cubemaps work or/and are good in a specific part, make a texture, etc)

yes you are completely right, there has to be done a lot, so that the map on servers will run well. I am glad to accept your offer. I can definitely need help in optimizing the performance;)
So if you like, I just send you the vmf and you correct and optimize as you mean, i am grateful for each input! Also change gladly the light and everything you notice that is a no go

Sorry, you misunderstood; I'm not a mapper, I can't help you configure/edit the map directly, only indirectly by giving you suggestions and using pictures and the like.
And I don't think Momofridgeah wants to be my butler again.

I disagree with you sending others your vmf for them to fix your optimization, i highly recommend you do it yourself so for future times it'll be much easier. Look up "Hammer Editor Optimization" for more help but if you're 100% stuck after watching the tutorials that's when you should try get others to help but in the mean time you should try do it yourself first as it's really important.

- brighten things up a tad and add some performance enhancing fog
- areaportals in the doors/ windows of buildings
- many horizontal skips/hints
And if the map is very large, the fewer details the better.
