Blunderbuss buff

Hi my name is Joe i like to play as the captin but the thing that annoys me is that the blunderbuss is a gun with a lot of ammo in 1 hit i fell like it should get like a 20-30 buff. i dont know if the blunder buss was suppose to have a 20 max and 60-75 max on special,

    In other words, you want every piece of shrapnel to come out from the blunderbuss to be almost as effective as a rifle shot.

    It actually does a good amount of damage, but every pellet has to hit which means you have to be point blank most of the time. Also you have to take armor into account, it will do more damage if they have no armor.

    Blunderbuss does high damage to unarmored enemies. Keep the weapon loaded, don't waste a shot on healthy and armored opponents.

    One thing I would love for the blunderbuss to have (back) is the knock-back. It's a very helpful mechanic that the Captain could use when enemy's get too close to him or if he wants to knock them down a pit/trap. Plus it just makes sense for a blunderbuss to do that.

    Well, back in the day when discussing about how to buff the captain (which ended up giving him the same movementspeed as an Archer/Sharpshooter) I suggested giving the Blunderbuss a knockback, as well as a self-knockback, as in if you fire the Blunderbuss mid-air, you get knocked back ala Force-A-Nature of TF2. Either that of give the Parrot a slowdown debuff on those it attacks. Both things to give the Captain more variety and mobility/counter-mobility, both things that help him engage or disengage!

    I still think both his secondary weapons need some extra juice. I don't think the Blunderbuss requires more damage, and after the patch that allows to reload it while moving it's also faaaaar more convenient to have it loaded. Something like I suggested before, however, would be loads of fun and turn him more into the guy that can do a lot of crazy stuff that will be hard to master, but once you do allows you to do some insane stunts. Hell, I even say to put his movementspeed down to the same as the Huscarl as long as it gets one or both of the things I suggested for his secondaries.
