Non-Steam Download?

Sorry if this is the wrong section, but is there a non-Steam download for the most recent version of the game? I have a Premium account in Team Fortress 2 (And Source SDK Base 2006/2007) but it's not on Steam's list of Source games that meet the requirement so it won't let me see the "Download" button.

The most I could find is an outdated version that can't connect to any servers.

I don't think there is a non-steam download, the versions you've tried were before the ones before PVK went unto steam.

All you need is free Source SDK Base 2007 and then download "Pirates, Vikings & Knights II" in the steam store.

I had a lan party last week and everybody was playing pvkii for free!

EDIT: Here is the link! Enjoy! http://store.steampo...1_7_suggest__13

No, there is no non-steam download. The game must be played using steam.

The problem is that I see this instead of the Download button: Iu8qg.jpg

    Thanks anyway, though.

Have you actually played TF2 (as in launching it and stuff), and downloaded Source SDK Base 2007 (located in your Tools tab)?
It should work just fine

also moved the topic to the appropriate subforum...

I ran SDK 2007 and now I can download it, thanks! This looks like it's going to be fun.

    Great to hear!

Have fun, and maybe look at our VODs of the streams. You might enjoy seeing what we got in store for the new update soon.

My friends downloaded SDK Base 2007 and PVKII. That was it. I don't think you actually need TF2 to play. Mayday confirmed that earlier in the year didnt she?
